Some of our students have participated in a printing class this year. We spent the first part of the year carefully practicing the proper formation of each letter, both upper and lower case. Over the last couple of months, we have been focused on transitioning our proper formation from our practice papers to our everyday writing in our journals. As we transitioned to our journals, it became clear that it is harder to know where to place our letters. We did a refresher about which letters go into the “attic” and which letters go into the “basement” and what that looks like in everyday writing! We have also done a reminder class about pesky b and d!
